Do You See What I See?

It never stops surprising me how people have such varied experiences and reactions while looking at the same picture.

This one I took yesterday made me feel that even in the most beautiful crowd it's possible to shine simply by being yourself.

However a friend commented that it made her think of being alone in a crowd, of being isolated - and that set me thinking again - to me it says the opposite, that you're never completely alone!

Our infinitely varied responses - none "right" and none "wrong" - keep me fascinated with photography … for now the pic is just making me feel really upbeat about spring, sunshine and shallow depths of field!
